Steph’s Green Beans

This is probably one of my most requested recipes, and it’s so easy! Just make sure you aren’t afraid to season the green beans well with a lot of salt and pepper, or you’ll be wondering what all the fuss is about.

Ingredients

3 slices uncooked bacon
1 can green beans
1/2 medium onion
salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Rough chop the onion. Cut the bacon into bite size pieces. Brown bacon until the edges become crispy in a small saucepan. Add onion to the bacon and sauté until wilted. Drain green beans well and add to the bacon-onion mixture. Add a generous amount of salt and pepper. Cover and cook on medium heat for 15 minutes.
